19th Century Dress
Well, it's been about a month and a half since I last posted. In that time, I've been very busy!
First of all, I got a portfolio so that I don't have to use my lined notebook anymore (yay!), which means the designs are easier to see. I make photocopies of each design and put them in a section of the portfolio, so I can color them later.![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZh90P9sysjOTxnGfuVkPg5vUrMTgUXfwND64YcS2p4hGQSXr9AfZVwDyR7SnRv41ogVx9-G2CpFPw6RIgMyUbdfY8v4lZdhJ4Au-DtGpEWV3ovyFwEdTDuUHeH7WtLvEPPPVY1leXIp_z/s320/IMG_0733.JPG)
I also made a "template" I can trace so I'm not estimating my proportions anymore. As you can see, the results are much improved.

This is a 19th Century dress that could be used as a costume of some sort. It's really too bad that no
The corset-style bodice is really pretty, in my opinion.

one wears these dresses anymore - they are so elegant and beautiful! The hairstyle is really more of a Renaissance style, but I could't help but pair it with the dress.
I colored darker on the folds to create a more realistic effect. It turned out very well!
I paired the flowers on the sleeve with the ones on the skirt in order to make the bodice and skirt seem like they "match".

Another ball gown
Yes, I have designed another ball gown. This one does not have a tiered skirt, like the last one, it has a poofy skirt. I personally like the earrings, and the sleeves. The braided bun also works well with the outfit.

Casual outfit
This outfit is simple, but cute nonetheless. The side ponytail is really pretty, both on paper and in real life. I was debating whether to do stripes or polka dots for the tank top, but I think it looks cute with the stripes. Also, the bow could be substituted with a flower. For the shoes, I wouldn't have done heels with this outfit, except that I wanted sandals and they are easier to draw as heels.

Pink Dress
I drew this dress on my iPad. There is no one wearing it because I drew the dress first and then I couldn't draw a person wearing on top of the already existent dress.
